🔌✨ The first municipal EV charger on EV Power! 🚗💨 We are thrilled to announce that on Monday, the 4th of March 2024, we powered up the first municipal EV charging station on the EV Power platform in the charming municipality of Athienou, marking a significant milestone in our journey towards sustainable mobility! Located at the entrance of the large public parking space north of the Kallinikeio Municipal Hall, with access from Andrea Louka Street, the municipality’s state-of-the-art dual EV charger is now ready to serve you! This new addition means you can now enjoy Athienou's delightful restaurants without ever worrying about your electric vehicle's battery life. The dual Type2 EV charger can power up two vehicles simultaneously at 22kW, ensuring that both residents and visitors can enjoy a seamless charging experience. This initiative demonstrates both the municipality’s and our commitment to not only enhance public convenience but also propel the community towards green development. A special shoutout to Mayor Kyriakos Kareklas and the Athienou municipality officials for embracing this eco-friendly leap with us. We also showcased the easy-to-use functionality of the charger to the local officials, along with introducing our app designed for the public to operate the charger effortlessly. 🚗🌿 Exciting News from the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Works! 🌿🚗 We're thrilled to unveil the 📣 3rd Announcement of the Electric Vehicle Subsidy Program, led by Transport Minister Alexis Vafeadis. This initiative is a giant leap towards a greener, more sustainable Cyprus, aligning with the General Policy Framework for the Promotion of Electric Vehicle Use and the National Plan for Energy and Climate. 🔌💡 Key Highlights: Funded by the EU Recovery and Resilience Facility, with a 🌍 total budget of €53 million. Aims to reduce the environmental impact of transport, promoting vehicles with zero or low CO2 emissions and alternative modes of transportation. 🍃 Includes subsidies for the purchase of new zero-emission vehicles, scrappage schemes, and grants for electric bicycles. 🚲 👨👩👧👦 Subsidy Categories: Private use, taxis, vehicles for people with disabilities, large families, commercial vehicles, small buses, microcars & motorcycles, and bicycles. 🚗🚕🚌 📅 Don't miss out on this opportunity to drive eco-friendly and economically!
